I put a screw in at either end just so the velcro isn't the only thing thing holding it up.




two strips of wood (they'll be trimmed so they don't stick out past the print), industrial strength velcro stapled into the board.

This print arrived with a big wrinkle from when it was pressed. I'll have a new one by thursday, but this puts me a little behind where I wanted to be.

I learned that if Sintra is left unsupported in a hot car, in will warp... and then not unwarp.

some feedback on this would be fantastic.. let me know if I left anything out, or anything is worded in a strange fashion, etc. I'm still aligning everything for the poster, but it's the same text and image, just all on one side.






I know that the title has to come down about three pixels here..

more progress

everything I have is now mounted, and pretty much ready to hang. my other prints should be up here by mid-week. I also got everything figured out, so I'll now be at the beard gallery on the 29th.













I picked up velcro like what Jenn had, and cut it in half lengthwise so I had thinner strips, then bordered the entire board with it. I found that it laid down a little more uniformly this way.

I found a good photographic resource for the pines... Note the Persian room and the indoor pool.

I've got paper samples and a pricing sheet from Jay for my posters and invitations. I'm aiming to get the file out by tomorrow.

all the board is cut for the large pieces that I'm using for my show (all but the outdoor pool). I'll get the files for the three newer pieces out tomorrow, and I should have them by the end of the week.

Here's my progress from today. tomorrow / friday is going to be be working on cutting the sintra and painting the plastic strips that hold the board together.


The five large prints I have are all trimmed and a much more manageable size.








It still wasn't big enough for most of them.
